It's here at last...

...I hear you cry, and you're not talking about your next batch of internet bought herbal Viagra. No, it's finally happened, Richard Dolan, or Richy Pickle as he sometimes goes by, probably on the sort of website your mother shouldn't see, has finally got a blog/gallery online. The twist is it's getting run by me Andrew Glazebrook on his behalf, although Richard can click a mouse, use a wacom tablet and even send e-mails, anything beyond that makes his cerebral cortex start to smoke.
I've been given a selection of pictures by Rich to post. Hopefully we'll have some updates to see, as I'm going to try and get Rich to give me some of his older work to put in a special post.

I've disabled all comments except for on this top post, so if you want to comment on Rich's wonderful work then do it here.

Andrew

Special Agent Dick Dolan! - great to see a presence on-line, albeit by proxy! I hear you're in NZ occasionally these days... and into rolling on 2 wheels too!... I'm down south in Dunners, if you fancy a bed... would be fun to catch up!

Glad to see this on the web finally. But why disable comments, I would imagine they will all be very positive. I think some people might like to ask questions about a particular picture and it would make sense to have those comments tagged to the relevant pictures.

I've had a chance to have a good look through the artwork here now, and I'm blown away by the quality of the work. I love all the Domestos characters and the sculpting work, especially the female figure, truly amazing work.

Danny, Richard is working on a new version of that picture so he asked me to remove the old one until the new one is ready !!

"Talented" seems a bit of a tame description. I'm green with envy.

Ask Richard If he remembers drawing babies in Maths class and then taking turns in drawing different mutilations to do, was far more interesting than calculas although I would have gotten a better result if it wasnt for richy, lol

I appeared in 2000ad alongside the Mean Machine after posing for some photos for Rich to use for the artwork.
Also remember him attaching a sixth finger to his hand rigged up with fake blood and cutting it off in the college dining room - oh the memories!

Hi there. My name is Anthony Bradely. I knew Richard from the early 90's. He will probably remember me as Mad Brad. Is there a contact number or an email where i can reach him. It has been many years but can you help?

If you leave your e-mail address here I will pass it on to Richard, I won't post that comment with your mail up here!
